Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center and Orange County AgriLife Extension are sponsoring a workshop on Earth-Kind Roses on Thursday, March 18 at Shangri La Gardens from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This free workshop will feature Dr. Steve George, Extension Horticulturalist from Texas AgriLife Extension and Gaye Hammond, Director of Houston Rose Society. Participants will learn about rose varieties that demonstrate superior pest tolerance combined with outstanding landscape performance. The free workshop is limited to 70 participants.
